Offered is the vintage book "Camp Morton 1861-1865 Indianapolis Prison Camp", written by Hattie Lou Winslow and Joseph R. H. Moore and published in 1995 by the Indiana Historical Society in Indianapolis. This book about a piece of Civil War history is a reprint of the work originally published in 1940. There are six black and white illustrations.
The book is approx. 9 1/2" x 6 1/4" and contains 154 pages, including the index. It is in excellent condition. The blue hard cover has no wear, the gold words on the front and spine still shiny. There is no cracking inside either the front or back cover. The white endpapers are clean, but a previous owner has written his name and a 1998 date in the upper corner of the first blank page. I see no missing or torn pages and all of the pages are well-attached to the binding, clean and clear. I see no writing in the book other than that already mentioned.
