Vintage Adam Hat Store Men's Brown Fur Felt Fedora Homburg Size 6 1/2
This vintage Adam Hat Store men's brown fur felt fedora homburg dates from the 1940s. It is made of a light brown color fine fur felt wool fabric, with a brown silk grosgrain ribbon hatband bow, wind cord string with button trim and ribbon bound trim edging the brim. This handsome gentleman's homburg style fedora hat has a single dent running down the center of the crown, a flat brim shaped in a "pencil curl" and a "Adam Hat Stores 665 Broadway N.Y.C " label, .50 original price tag, "United Hatters Cap & Millinery Workers Union" label, a leather sweatband embossed with "Aqua Shed" and "Pliant-EZE" and a faint size 6 1/2 ? tag inside. It is in good condition, gently worn with some minor wear needing a bit of cleaning dusting off on the outside (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful men's homburg hat piece of wearable millinery art!
