    Description

    PROVENANCE:
This came by way through a lady who came into my Santa Fe store who is a friend of the owner of this cuff. The original owner bought this at "Palms Trading" in ABQ. in the early 70's & back when they had different buyers, owners & stocked the best in Native American jewelry at that time. It has been safely kept in her possession for all these years!
Zuni Pueblo jewelry has always been one of my favorite tribes when it comes to time consuming cluster work & picturesque inlaid jewelry.. Their's takes lots of skill, delicate hands, good dexterity, eye sight & a ton of patience to do what they do!

    DESCRIPTION:
This is made by veteran artisan"S.Wallace" back in the day when she was hand signing her pieces in script with a dremal rather than her stamp that she now uses.
The workmanship is truly something to be appreciated when you figure that each diamond cut has to be precisely cut at the same size, to fit in the sterling that they are inlaid into! Each of these are cut by hand..
    THIS
is the beauty of Zuni work,is that they cut each & every one of their stones just like their ancestors before them..
The shimmer from the shell that you will get with this is literally over the top  is luster! You look at it one way & colors appear, then you turn it another & you will see lime greens, lavenders, pinks & yellow. The base color I would personally say is a tan-ish color. It is
    AMAZING
    !!!!
She designed it to come to almost like a point at the terminals & then where it narrows she cut the shell to fit that area, as well!
This cuff has to fit,(Read below on "How to Fit a Cuff") since it is not adjustable. It is in perfect vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, etc.
    Would make a wonderful gift!!!!

    **IMPORTANT**
If for any reason there is a return, there is now a 3% charge that will be taken out from the total price you paid..
Late last year all credit card companies, including Paypal, changed their policies & are now charging the seller this 3% for any & all charge backs.I'm sorry, but I will not eat this loss. This is one good reason why you should go over measurements
    before
    purchasing & read
    all
the detail I provided you with & ask any questions/concerns you may have
    beforehand
    .
So please go over everything in order to avoid a return & hurting others chances of possibly wanting to buy this..
Please know your wrist size before purchasing to avoid a return!
**I am not a professional photographer, but I do try to do my best at giving you accuracy in color..
To give you close ups, items tend to look much more larger & 10 X's more magnified than in actuality.Close up's make the item look so large & then you get the item in hand & you are shocked since they are much smaller than imagined. So to get a accurate idea of how big this is,please pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.

    HOW TO FIT A CUFF
You can "You Tube" this by putting something like, "How to Fit a Cuff Bracelet"
Cuffs fit different than any other type bracelet & so they must fit right!
The best way to get a good fit is to measure a cuff bracelet you already have that fits you well. You can use my "across measurement" guide above or go by this:
The total inside circumference is the inside circumference of the bracelet from end to end plus the gap (the distance between the ends)If you don't have a cuff bracelet , then measure your wrist where you want to wear the bracelet. Cut a strip of paper approximately 8" long and as wide as the bracelet you would like to wear. Wrap the paper around your wrist where you would wear the bracelet. You might secure the paper with a piece of tape to get a better feel of the fit. Remove the paper and measure from the end to the mark for the circumference of your wrist.
EXAMPLE: If the inside Circumference end to end is 5" and the Gap is 1", the total inside Circumference would be 6" and would be suitable for a wrist approximately 5 3/4" to 6 1/4" depending on how tight or loose you like to wear your bracelets..Remember the interior does not change, but the gap can be adjusted, either by yourself or your jeweler, depending on the thickness of the gauge.
****The thickness of the fleshy part (above your wrist) is equally as important as to whether a cuff fits properly & even though the cuff could fit your wrist,if the gap is too small or too large, can make a huge difference in the cuff fitting*****
A cuff should not 'roll' around on your wrist(Too loose),nor should you see flesh hanging over the edge(Too tight) Always put the cuff on above the wrist bone where it is fleshy, then bring it down to wrist. And NEVER "squeeze" to tighten!! You will lose the integrity of the metal & if there are stones, they can loosen..To adjust & tighten, turn your wrist over, push down on one end at the terminal, push down on the other at the terminal..Go easy,if the gauge is lighter..Reverse this method to take off.
