    Description

    I gave this set to my Daddy probably sometime in the 1990’s.
    I’m listing these as used even though I can’t tell that he ever listened to them - they show no signs of being played/used in that they both appear pretty much ready to play from the beginning.
    There are a few scuffs in the plastic of the front outer case of the first tape.
    I haven’t tried them out, but if there’s any problem, please let me know.
    - 2 cassette tapes wrapped in cardboard within a cardboard sleeve. Suitable for easily slipping onto a bookshelf.
    - Cassettes are excerpts from the bestseller The Civil War, by Geoffrey Ward with Ken and Ric Burns. There are 4 sides.
    - 3 hours of listening. Read by Ken Burns.
    - Audio prepared in 1991 by Random House Publishing.
    - I believe the 1990 date on the back is the date of publication of the book?
    - The cardboard case shows a bit of shelf-wear.

    **** These have been on my parents’ shelves for years, and their house has been closed up off and on since 2016. I detect no damage despite the age of the paper and cassettes. Again, I don’t have a working cassette player to test them on.
    Please note that my parents’ home and my home have always been smoke-free, but mine is extremely pet-friendly.
