    Hardcover, Used.
    Thomas Spencer Sprague (1828-1887).  He helped raise the 27th Michigan Infantry in early 1861.
    He was given a sword by the Printers of Detroit and was connected with the Chicago Tribune before the war. He practiced Law after the Civil War.
    He is also mentioned, with his military accomplishments in the Civil War, in the "Compendium of History and Biography of the City of DETROIT".
    In good condition; Hardcover outside has heavy wear all over, bumped & worn corners, spine edges show wearing of the blue cover, there is no dust jacket, covers are scuffed, wear along the edges, corners, and spine. Wear, fading, or lighter spotting on the covers.
    The pages appear to be in clean condition
    The binding is starting to weaken in the front / back of the book.
