    Augusta. 1862.  Stevens & Sayward, Printers to the State. John L. Hodson, Adjutant General. Marbled paper covered boards half-leather with Moroccan leather spine with gilt lettering.  Consists of over 1000 pages of names of men by regiment or towns, resigned, deceased, promoted officers, etc.  Starts with First Regiment Maine Volunteers.
    Adjutant General mentions " The bombardment of Fort Sumter at Charleston, on the twelfth of April last, by those who should have been its defenders..." in prefatory note.
    Condition:  Binding still good, covers shows scrapes and scratches, foxing mostly to margin areas scattered throughout though not affecting all pages.  Very Good copy of this important report.
