Presented for your consideration is this interesting antique book on the funny and pathetic events that took place during the American Civil War. The book is titled, The Pictorial Book of Anecdotes of the Rebellion or the Funny and Pathetic Side of the War. It was written by Frazar Kirkland and published in 1887 by The Hall & Ellis Publishing Company in Hillsdale, Michigan. It contains over 300 engravings. The 705 begins with Andrew Jackson's Union Toast and ends with Lincoln's Assassination and the end of the War. It is a collection of amusing and interesting stories that happened during notable events during the Civil War. All pages appear to be intact. Finished with a hardcover. This very interesting book would make a nice addition to any Civil War memorabilia collection! A nice read for anyone interested in the Civil War!
The binding is loosening and one page is loose from the binding in the middle of the book. Could stand to be re-bound. Some mild wear is around the edges of the cover. Light to mild cover wear. Light foxing is on some of the pages and the name of a previous owner is on the inside front cover. Overall in GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
