    Description

There were only two Whitworth cannons at Gettysburg and they were used Confederates.  This is a very rare antique artifact. This is a rifled shell from one of them and it was built in Britian.  We purchased this from a Gettysburg dealer a number of years ago. It is in good condition considering it was buried.  It weights 10.5 pounds and it is 8 3/4" long. The circumference is nine inches.
