The spine is intact and virtually un-cracked.
This copy is in remarkable condition for being over 150 years old.
Damage includes;
Some raised spots on the cover, as if something liquid was dropped onto it.
some scuffing on the bottom of the back cover
Some age spotting, mostly on the first few pages and on the tissue and plates of the generals (though the printing on the plates is clear and contrasty).
