    For bid is an original 1900 Confederate CIVIL WAR book, “United States ‘HISTORY’ as the YANKEE Makes and Takes it” by a Confederate Soldier (AKA Captain John “Jack” Cussons, CSA).  This is a third edition of an 1897 book, published at Glen Allen, Virginia by a former Confederate officer, John Cussons (1838-1912).  Soft cover book that was originally published in 1897 under the title, “A Glance at Current American History.”  Book has exactly 100 pages (including front and back covers).  Yellow soft covers. Rare Civil War history book from the perspective of the of a Confederate / Southern / Rebel officer.  Privately printed booklet.  Some corner creases and a tip missing from the lower edge of the front cover.  Book is complete and in very decent condition.  Great piece of Civil War history.
